Have you ever made learned that bit of information that slingshots you into the next level on something, and then suddenly you feel lost again almost immediately? I have finally taken the time to sit with what has been going on for me lately. And, let me tell you, there

Are you as hyper-connected as I am? I own a Mortorola Droid, and I love it. It almost does too much at times, but then again I am a geek. I have decided that I am both behind on posting and eager to try out my Wordpress Droid app.

My wife and I have been talking about learning more about urban farming. We have been on a newsletter list for www.WeFarmAmerica.com , and we finally decided to attend an event. It seemed as though things had to align for us not just in schedule but in frame of mind.

Turning Breakdowns into Breakthroughs Faster
How missing deadlines lead to an important distinction?
Does missing a deadline ever snowball on you, and instead of missing it by a day you miss it by a much longer period of time? If you are reading this post, then you may have realized that I

Are you only focused on one aspect of your brand or identity? I ask this because I’ve found that in the beginning my attention was highly focused on the logo of The Bloggers’ Post and nothing else. I think that any new adventure has the caveat that you may not have the future totally articulated so thinking beyond the logo is tough.

What do my readers think of me as a blogger? Are my readers still with me? I wonder about these questions a lot. I think it’s hard to analyze yourself, because there are so many perspectives to consider. The infamous “they” say that there are four me(s) out there. There is who I think I am, who I think you think I am, who you actually think I am, and who I actually am, and none of those me(s) are the same. The overall goal is that in order to affectively use social media tools you have to have a reason, or you will quickly lose interest. You won’t be able to identify opportunities vs. threats, and it will be come unpleasant like untangling a ball of wires. There is nothing more important, and more satisfying than the actual connections made through these mediums. This radical concept of engaging each other is actually how I (Marty Bhatia) met Christian Jackson of Square Inch Design. I followed him on Twitter.com as one of many Chicagoans doing something in the area of blogging, design, and overall web stuff. After checking out his awesome blog and design work I simply made a comment as to how much I liked it.
A couple reciprocal visits to my site, a few more interactions on Twitter.com, and our collaboration was born. Christian liked what I was doing, and I clearly liked his design. We setup barter for work, and the rest…well it’s not history yet, so let’s say the rest is the future.

Are you a victim of the haunting question of “what do you do?” In our lives, in this country, we are often defined by the answer to this question. I don’t really blame us though. There is far too much coming at us all at once, too much stimuli, and we as humans need to categorize and become selective with the things we interact with.

Do you use Twitter and see the #__________ (fill in the blank) all over the place and wonder , is that even useful? The short answer is sometimes. To get an idea of just how much there is to know about click this Hashtags. The signifigance of the #ff is that it is about people promoting other people on Twitter. The best part about it is that it is actually useful.

No matter the bounds my spirit can ponder
No matter the distance my mind will wonder

Have you ever wondered how a blogger picks his/her theme? Or, are you a blogger that has gone through this painstaking process that leaves you up at night? Well either way I’ve discovered just how much changing a theme can affect your psyche. For bloggers this is a nightmare with fears of losing followers, alienating people, and having functions that don’t work, and for readers it could be quite annoying similar to the morning I woke up and Facebook had changed.
